Introduction of school
Tokyo Professional College of Automobile Technology Setagaya school provides 3 different courses for students to choose; automobile engineer-level 1 course which allows students to achieve their dream of becoming a design/development engineer, automobile maintenance course which helps to raise human resources for various industries as well as automobile maintenance course- level 2 in which students can learn during night classes and sit for the qualifications examination for automobile mechanic (class 2).
Besides that, the school will be introducing a new course, “Automobile maintenance department- Mercedes Benz course” in April 2016. Students will be able to acquire skills used for the world’s top manufacturer and as a road after graduation, students might have a chance to pursue a career in Mercedes Benz official dealer company.
With practical training-centered classes, students will be able to acquire the qualification as automobile mechanics and at the same time, nurture their practical skills which will be helpful in various activities in the automobile industry.

With cooperation from Mercedes Benz Japan, the school will be introducing a new course called “Automobile maintenance department- Mercedes Benz course” in April 2016. The course which will be the first one ever in Japan features the use of Mercedes Benz automobile as well as special automotive diagnose machines for education and training purposes. Students will then be able to acquire skills used for the world’s top manufacturer and as a road after graduation, students might have a chance to pursue a career in Mercedes Benz official dealer company.
As for the curriculum practiced at the school, not only does it encourage the acquisition of Class 2 automobile mechanic qualification, it also offers full support for examination tips. - Learn with the help of cars used for practical training made by a variation of automobile makers.

The school which consists of 5 floors above ground and an underground floor is fully equipped with the latest facilities. The training rooms in the underground floor are very spacious and students can train there with the help of the latest facilities and study materials. For training purposes, plenty of 4-wheel automobiles and motorcycles are provided as well. As the automobiles and motorcycles are all from different companies, students get to master various skills depending on the type which will be very useful when working in the professional working site. Besides the learning environment, the school also provides a space especially for the students to relax. Places like the open rooftop area and student hall in the 2nd floor are the perfect place for them to spend their time in their own ways.

The school aims for its students’ success in employment by providing help and support step by step from the beginning such as psychology test, briefing sessions from various companies, industry researching and many more. Besides that, with the help of recruitment database which can be accessed by the school’s network, students can look for the latest information related to recruitment and employment. Every year in January during the joint company briefing session, as many as 100 companies are invited to take part. It is very helpful for students during job-hunting as they will be able to obtain the latest information about particular industries and companies.
