'Field trips' and 'real job project' where you can learn the real thing

The knowledge learned on campus is not necessary sufficient enough to be absolutely competitive in the working society. In order to fully absorb the information learned, field trips unique to each department have been implemented, such as learning in famous hotels and shops (Interior department), field work in the nature (Environmental technology department), and training in IT companies (Information processing department).
In addition, the first project of the new enterprise cooperation 'Real job project' that started in 2014 involved all the departments and led to the opening of a cafe on-campus! Through learning that is based on students' independence, acquire skills such as communication skills, problem-finding and solving skills that are required in the industry.

A full job-hunting support through the school’s very own job-hunting program

The school aims for its students’ success in employment by providing help and support step by step from the beginning such as psychology tests, briefing sessions from various companies, industry researching and many more. Every year in February during the joint company briefing session, as many as 100 companies are invited to take part. It is very helpful for students during job-hunting as they will be able to obtain the latest information about particular industries and companies. Not only that, the school also provides help for students to improve their communication skills besides teaching them about the important manners during interviews. Thanks to the support, students are able to get the job of their choice in an early stage and the school is also able to achieve nearly 100% of employment rate.

'Lessons for understanding' where liking grows into seriousness is a feature of Tokyo Technical College.
The classes in Tokyo Technical College primarily have 3 merits. First, students are given the chance to learn and master skills starting from the basics up to the advanced level step by step. Next, most teachers plan each one of their classes and they include a summary of the syllabus for each class to allow students to know more about the classes. Lastly, students are given sheets with the main point of the lesson of the day written on as well as questions sheets to check their understanding after each class. With this unique system, students will be able to learn a lot without any worries.
