Introduction of school
With two childcare facilities within its building and a nursing facility nearby, the school permits students to learn in a bright and practical manner while directly interacting with children and senior citizens!
Sanko Gakuen has a record of achievement for its education of many persons who are active in the fields of childcare and welfare services. It is a school that produces childcare workers, kindergarten teachers, and nursing care workers. It is a specialized school that has accumulated a deep store of know-how and achievement in childcare and welfare education for more than 30 years.
Features of school
- Thanks to the existence of a facility for the aged nearby, students can experience the site of care on a daily basis!
-
Located near the school is Iyashi no Sato, a facility for the aged that is given high ratings for its bright and cheery atmosphere. The Nursing Care & Welfare Service Department can therefore provide practical learning in nursing work. Students can also feel assured about finding employment after graduation, because of the many welfare service facilities in the Sanko Group.
- Students can obtain national qualification!
-
In the Nursing Care & Welfare Service Department, students can obtain national qualification as nursing care workers. Sanko Gakuen has a full assortment of measures to help students pass the national exams for such qualification, including trial written exams that students can take over and over again, and supplementary lessons outside regular instruction hours.
- Powerful assistance for employment in the welfare service and nursing care industry, with two teachers providing each student with reliable support for finding work
-
Sanko Gakuen has a long record of achievement as regards know-how and human resource development in welfare education, and strong links with related facilities nationwide. For the class graduating in March 2021, the post-graduation employment rate was 100% (all 105 of the graduates desiring employment found jobs). For the same class, the number of job openings was 604, which translates into an average of about 5.7 openings per student. In addition, in our original “two teachers” system, each student is given thoroughgoing support for job-finding activities from admission to graduation by two teachers, one providing instruction who has a firm grasp of student individuality and ability, and the other assigned to area-specific employment with detailed information on each employment area.
