Introduction of school

Hiko Mizuno College of Jewelry is the only vocational school established in Japan that specializes in the studies of production of jewelry, footwear, bags, and watches.
With a long history of 52 years, the college has produced more than 8,000 graduates who currently play an active role in the industry. Many of the graduates are able to have their dream career as they find plenty of job opportunities available.
Most of the students here start as a beginner by learning about basics first such as the names of tools, handling methods, and more. From there, they train and grow until they are proficient enough even to establish their own brand while still in school. Here at Hiko Mizuno College of Jewelry, each student will master the techniques to express one’s individuality through the production of various creations.
On top of that, all the campus buildings are located at Shibuya, Harajuku, and Aoyama which are also known as the place of origin of the latest fashion trends. No doubt, this is the perfect environment for students to learn and strive to be a professional designer in the future.

The main building is located at Shibuya Cat Street and plenty of famous stores are available nearby. Thanks to the thorough course establishment, the great technical skills taught in college, the helpful career advice from teachers and career department, and the trust given by companies to many graduates, the college is able to produce many professionals with a high level of expertise since the establishment in 1966. In March 2018, the graduates of Jewelry Department achieved an employment rate of 98.5% while those from Shoemaker & Bagmaker Department and Watchmaker Department achieved a rate of 100%.

Student dormitories are available for those who live far from the school campuses.
Each dormitory is located near the campus and it will only take 25-45 minutes to get to the college. Every room is fully furnished, so you only need a bag and you will be ready to move in anytime.
