Nishitetsu International Business College is a vocational school that was established by Nishi-Nippon Railroad in order to nurture future specialists and professionals in the industry of hotel, bridal, tourism, railway and aviation. The school has been able to keep up its high employment rate, as high as 98% for 21 years consecutively since its establishment with the help of excellent career support from 80 companies in Nishitetsu Group and also a close relationship with over 4,600 graduates who are currently actively involved in different industries. Besides that, students are given opportunities to take part in lessons taught by teachers who have experience working in the respective industries and they also have a chance to participate in training programs with companies for a long period. Through these programs and curriculum, students will be able to acquire professional knowledge and skills, improve their customer service skills and at the same time, be trained to be future professionals that are suitable with the demand of each industry.

At IBC, first year students are required to take part in training programs in their selected industry for 1 to 3 months. Although there are plenty of schools that provide their students with training programs, not a lot of them require all of their students to take part in training programs for a long period. All the experience gained during the training will be very useful during job hunting and also when the students start working.
